                   The RHB Banking Group officially received its license for RHB Islamic Bank on 1 March 2005. The
                   incorporation of RHB Islamic Bank as its wholly owned subsidiary marked the first commercial banking
                   group in Malaysia to operate a full-fledged Islamic bank.

                   RHB Islamic Bank commenced its operations on 16 March 2005. Today, RHB Islamic Bank offers a range
                   of retail and non-retail products – both in Ringgit and non-Ringgit denominated currencies. The Bank is
                   organized on a leveraged business model according to the following segments:

                   •   Shariah Advisory
                   •   Product Management

                   to chart RHB Islamic Bank’s corporate strategy and engages with business units to achieve the Group’s
                   aspiration. RHB Islamic Bank remains as the manufacturer of Islamic products and services and gatekeeper
                   for Shariah matters.
